SCREEN FLANDERS
Screen Flanders is your first stop for audiovisual activities in the Flanders Region (Belgium), providing financial support through its Economic Fund and information and services via its Film Commission.
With an annual budget of 3.5 million euros, the Screen Flanders Economic Fund offers support to audiovisual productions and co-productions that spend all or part of their budget within the Flanders Region. Belgian (co-)producers can apply to receive up to 400,000 euros refundable advances by way of economic support. The fund’s investment can also easily be combined with other support measures available such as the federal Tax Shelter.
Through its film commission Screen Flanders provides information and assistance to both domestic and international producers regarding location scouting, incentives, production and post-production services in the Flanders Region.
Why co-produce with Flanders?
The Flanders Region has many assets to offer international co-productions, but what makes it so unique? Learn all about the film financing mechanisms, locations and facilities in this session and follow into the footsteps of productions such as I Kill Giants, Iron Sky: The Coming Race, Yummy, Breaking Surface and The Deep House.
