The project consists in adapting the short film “Sylvie l’a fait” – submitted to BIFFF 2022 – into a feature film.
In hell, labor is inexpensive, and the multinationals of the living world have found a profitable way to subcontract unpleasant tasks. Séverine, dead for 30 years, works in the customer service department of a large e-commerce company with the hypothetical promise of going to heaven if she works hard. Her only daily pleasure is to follow her son’s orders as they are placed and to see him grow up through the purchases he makes. One day, her son dies in his turn but leaves for heaven. The contact is lost. Séverine will do everything she can to skip the steps in a company dehumanized by its hierarchy and get her ticket to heaven.
