Berlinale 2022: A Return to Cinematic Gatherings
In February 2022, our team attended the 72nd Berlin International Film Festival, which took place from February 10 to 20. This edition marked a significant return to in-person cinematic celebrations amidst global challenges, uniting film professionals worldwide.
The Golden Bear was awarded to Spanish director Carla Simón for her film Alcarràs, a poignant depiction of a family’s struggles in rural Catalonia. Additionally, the Silver Bear Grand Jury Prize went to South Korean director Hong Sang-soo for The Novelist’s Film, highlighting the festival’s commitment to diverse storytelling.
Participating in the Berlinale 2022 allowed us to reconnect with industry peers, discover emerging talents, and lay the groundwork for future collaborations, reinforcing our dedication to the global film community.
