Synopsis
Two paramedics discover a treasure in an old cellar. Accidentally, they activate a dimensional portal, bringing to life the creature known as “The Engineer,” a being with electromagnetic powers who will do anything to recover the jewels that allow him to travel between dimensions.
Director’s vision
Visually, the project is influenced by classic monster movies, such as the ones from Universal Monsters and Hammer Studios, mixing it with the visual impact of comic books and using a dynamic camera style and exploring languages from films like Steven Spielberg’s “Amazing Stories,” and Martin Scorsese’s “Bringing out the Dead.”

Director’s biography
Kapel Furman has been working as a filmmaker, character designer, and special effects artist since 1997. He is an expert in special effects and the use of blood as an aesthetic resource in cinema. He has directed and produced eight shorts and three feature films. THE GUARDIAN described his work as “A Masterclass of butchery.”
